When traveling below 50mph, Front Pedestrian Braking is designed to help you avoid or reduce the impact of a front-end collision with a pedestrian in front of your vehicle. This feature is limited during nighttime and low visibility periods.
With Forward Collision Alert, you’ll be warned when the system detects an impending front-end collision with a vehicle in front of you. Using advanced camera technology, the Automatic Emergency Braking feature provides heavy emergency braking as well as enhances driver-intiiated heavy braking while below 50 mph.
