Chevrolet Silverado vs. Nissan Titan Let’s face it, most of us who own a truck do so because we’ve got something to haul. And with that in mind, the new 2018 Chevy Silverado from Matthews-Hargreaves Chevrolet clearly outpaces the Nissan Titan when it comes to towing. The Silverado diesel engine delivers up to 445 horsepower and 910 lb-ft of torque. Just compare that with the Titan’s V-8 engine’s 390 horsepower and 394 lb-ft of torque and you begin to see the difference. And when it comes to the interior, once again the new Silverado has the Titan beat. The Silverado is both spacious and functional, features a ginormous console, and huge door pockets. The Nissan Titan, on the other hand, simply doesn’t stack up. Additionally, the Silverado features greater headroom and leg room. And on top of all that, the Chevy Silverado has superior fuel economy, getting 21 combine mpg compared to the Titan’s 18 combined mpg. But judge for yourself. Forget all the technical specs and just take a new 2018 Chevy Silverado out for a test drive.
